Allergology and coagulation
Detect allergies and interrupt the reaction chain
We don`t measure not the antibodies against allergens, but the allergenic molecular proteins of 112 allergen components from 51 different allergen sources simultaneously with a single measurement. The cross-reactivity of the IMMUNOCAP ISAC chip can provide valuable information on possible allergen sources. The broad allergen profile of the bio chip shows you a comprehensive sensitization profile against both cross-reactive and specific allergen components in a single test.
There is no risk of transmission of allergies. These always arise on the basis of an individual predisposition. Such a predisposition may be partly genetically determined, but also develop in the course of life due to an existing chronic infection. Even if the actual cause of the allergy is actually a substance from the outside, for example by animal hair or pollen, there is no transfer of the allergens from human to human in the sense of an infection such as in cold diseases.
If you have an allergy, the immune system reacts unreasonably violently to actually harmless substances such as pollen, animal hair or food. Histamine and other messengers then lead to swelling, itching, and dilated blood vessels. This reaction can be localized or affect the whole body - for example the nose, skin, bronchial tubes or the circulatory system.
Through the many different forms and countless potential triggers, an allergy requires a lot of patience from the person concerned. However, 3 different measures have proved successful as a therapy option.
Identify the trigger and avoid it as far as possible by, for example, a food changeover. This interrupts the reaction chain of the immune system and gives the allergic person rest. If symptoms occur, take medication to relieve symptoms. Antihistamines, for example, suppress the allergic reactions.! Using a specific immunotherapy, the body slowly gets used to the allergen with a very small amount of the trigger and the immune system is insensitive to it.
Coagulation disorders and weakening
In the case of a coagulation disorder, a long-lasting or severe bleeding occurs as a result of the injury. Even spontaneous bleeding without a recognizable cause may occur. Guilt of this is often too few coagulation factors, so that the blood is too slow or not coagulated. An important component in the diagnosis of miscarriages and pregnancy complications is the diagnosis of coagulation disorders (thrombophilia). In addition to genetic risk factors, the antiphospholipid syndrome plays an important role. The clinical appearance is so diverse that it requires high attention and great clinical experience of the physicians to recognize. Of the Central European population about 10 % are affected by a propensity for thrombosis caused by a genetic risk factor. With our therapy concepts, however, we can provide support and an improvement and take appropriate prophylactic measures.
